Welcome to my website! My name is Megan, and I am the proud owner of MJ Makeup and Beauty, a local beauty studio that specialises in many services from makeup to cosmetic tattooing. My passion for beauty started at a young age, and I have been pursuing it ever since. I have spent years honing my skills in makeup artistry, lash extensions, brow shaping, spray tanning, and more recently teeth whitening and tooth gems, and I am thrilled to share my expertise with you. ​ As a mother to two beautiful daughters, I started MJ Makeup and Beauty as a way to pursue my passions and support my family while still being present for my children. Initially, it was just a makeup service offered to friends, but the demand grew, and I decided to take a chance and turn it into a business and offer this service to the wider community. Eventually, I added lash extensions to the services, which quickly became a hit. Despite having a full-time job, I managed to juggle my regular work and business on the weekends and evenings. Life was hectic, but we love a little crazy. After the birth of our second child, we made the decision for one parent to stay home and take care of the kids. I seized this opportunity to turn MJ Makeup and Beauty into a full-time business, working around my children    ensuring we can reduce the need for full time preschool and afterschool care. Since then, I have completed a refresher course in lash extensions, as well as completed training for other services such as brow treatments, lash treatments, spray tanning, teeth whitening, tooth gems and cosmetic tattooing. My goal is to offer a one-stop-shop for all my clients' beauty needs, and to make the experience as comfortable as possible, particularly for parents with young children. ​ At my beauty studio, I strive to provide the highest quality services to all of my clients. My studio is a 100% family-friendly space, and I even offer special appointments designed to accommodate parents with young children.
